• I go by the name ‘Bird’ when I’m out on trails, which is part of the inspiration behind FarawayFlyer, and the rationale behind the Bird Talk tags.
• Hummingbirds are possibly my favourite animal, in as far as I have favourite anythings. There’s a hummingbird tag for my posts in recognition of this.
• I very often feel at odds with the world around me.
• Being upside down is both important to me and somehow seems appropriate given the above.
• I’m somewhat introverted with a boundless love for the wilderness.
