Day 79: The Long And Slightly Boring Road

farawayflyer / July 29, 2015

Today was boring for about 24 miles of the 25 I covered. I hiked, I ate, I sweated in the humidity. • I don’t see the days getting shorter as a bad thing. I love the softer light and the vibrant colours. Waterside walks, grasses and blackberries. #exetercanal #devon #lightchasing #watersidewalks

  • Today I remember the turning of the seasons; blazing colours, bright sunlight and crisp frosts. I fell in love with the wilds of the Pacific Northwest and would return in a heartbeat. This is some of the most beautiful and most remote country I’ve experienced. #hiking #pct2015 #washington #pacificnorthwest #volcanoes #northcascades #mountadams #mountrainier #mountsthelens #rainforests #turningseasons #fallcolours
